I hope everyone is enjoying the summer so far! It has definitely been HOT!!!
Noah and I have been catching up with good friends, taking dips in the pool, building lots and lots of lego houses and taking dreamy, lazy, long naps 🙂
In an effort to keep our summer filled with art (and/or crafts), I have spent a considerable amount of time scouring the internet. This is nothing new, but instead of looking for elementary appropriate activities as I do during the school year, I am keeping my eye peeled for toddler friendly projects. My searches have resulted in a collection of blogs and websites that I believe will keep kids of all ages occupied with great ideas all summer!
Here are some of my favorites:
Disclaimer: I am listing them here based on the activities/recipes/craft project ideas they offer, NOT to endorse any religious or political views the blogger may have, or lifestyle choices they may lead.
http://pinterest.com/ (my all-time favorite time wasting site, chock full of fantastic ideas)
http://tottreasuresnorthbay.blogspot.com/ (this is one fun mom!!)
http://teachertomsblog.blogspot.com/2012/07/three-questions.html (a great blog from a male pre-K teacher)
http://jen-peacefulparenting.blogspot.com/ (I love this woman’s approach to raising her son. I’m still not sure whether I am impressed or totally freaked out that her 2 year old is cooking himself an egg omelette at the stove)
