In case you were wondering why some grades are represented here on the blog much more frequently than others, I thought I’d explain…
1. Some grades (like 2nd) have been working for a long time on self portraits. I am not posting any pictures of the students faces, which limits me when that’s what the artwork actually is. Fear not, their next project will be posted as soon as possible.
2. Some grades simply work at a faster pace and are more prolific than others. The first grade students, for instance, have been whizzing through the curriculum this year. They complete so much artwork that I have barely been able to keep up with them. They may have completed 2 or 3 assignments whereas some other grades have completed only one project in the same amount of time.
3. I have not been able to photograph all of the projects. Alas, I am only one person, and sometimes I do not have a chance, or simply forget to photograph certain projects. This does not mean that your student has not been busy at work in the art room, just that I’ve been busy at work as well, and will do my best in the future.
If you do not see your child’s project, please come visit the blog again soon, as I try to update it frequently. Also, check out the work that the other grades have been making – you may just be inspired!!
